As I've mentioned before, our family and close friends have a whatsapp group in which copious amounts of Daphné footage is shared... photos, videos and funny things she says.
In an effort to try to share some of it with you, I've started making these "medleys" of videos (with my mad iMovie skills). I hope you enjoy them. For me, it's a good way to clear out some memory space on my phone, as well as enjoy our sweet, bright, happy Daphodil flower!
We treasure this little life given to us by God. Tonio and I are humbled that we have been chosen to be her parents... such an honor and a blessing!
Way back in October 2016, about half a year ago, we met 2 really cool couples from the Atlantic Coast of France. They were traveling around sharing information about Christian Surfers France! Now, if you know me, you know that this is a dream come true! Jesus, surfing and France.
"That every surfer and every surfing community has opportunity to know and follow Jesus" is the vision of Christian Surfers. They exist in about 45 different countries (see the list of nations), and I'm thrilled that France is now one of them.
I was waiting to write this blog, because their website had not yet been finished. Well, it's up and running, so here we go!
Here we are with the crew : Pierre, Joby, Vicky (with Mabel in her arms and a little girl in her belly, who was born a few months ago), Powell, Audrey (who is also pregnant here with a little girl, who was also born a few months ago), me (not pregnant just yet), Daphné and Tonio.
This October 2017, as you can see from the flyer above, these guys will be hosting a national conference for France. I really wanted to go, but we will all be still adjusting to our fourth family member ;). However, maybe we as a family can go to the big international conference the next year (October 2018), also hosted in Hossegor. We shall see.
Until then, I have the flyer up on our bathroom wall as a reminder to pray for the Christian Surfers France team, the preparation for the conference and mostly for the hearts that God wants to reach through this ministry. I look forward to seeing how the Petrignani family will be involved eventually ;).
Here is the International Christian Surfers Director sharing the
vision. I find that being a surfer is so much like being a Christian...
you have an immediate family around the world! Then, put the two
together... BAM!
We are so thankful and excited to be expecting a little boy in August, Daphné's little brother. That's right, she'll have to share social media space... ha! (AND her toys... her princess world is going to be rocked!)
Anyways, these are a few pictures I have to share with you! Enjoy!
This announcement was a collaborative effort... I saw the idea on pinterest, so I took a picture of the 4 saftey pins. Then, I asked the dynamic married duo (my really good friends) Leon of Hey Leon Media and Crystal of Swan Lettering to help me make this final product. I just love how it turned out! Thanks guys!

Now, I must admit that France and the States count differently, so I'm just trying to ballpark the numbers.

This top is a hand-sewn gift to me by Barbara Fearing (I bought the fabric with gift money from my mama). You can see the whole pattern review! It's not a style that I would have chosen, and the fabric is a bit stiffer than I would have liked... But, apparently, this is the year of the sleeve, so I'm fashionably pregnant. HA! And it's growing on me... pun intended.

Hoping to be down here a lot this summer!

This little life is a blessing and a gift. Every time he kicks, I'm reminded that life is so precious. We thank God for the grace of being able to get pregnant again and for the grace of having a healthy, growing baby with a relatively easy pregnancy so far. Please continue to pray for us as we prepare to meet our little man in August. Thank you!
Last year in February 2016, I launched a FaceBook game of sorts. I said the first 20 people to reply with OUI will be sent a blank postcard to color and send back to me. There was such a response that I added 20 more postcards to the deal. Thus, I sent out 40 blank postcards in envelopes all over the world!
I didn't think I would receive so many, but I got 28 out of 40 back. That's 70%!!! And I even got an extra one, designed by Tonio's uncle. So, if we add extra credit, the grade is 72.5%. Hehe! I finally got around to scanning them all. They are all so unique and beautiful. Thanks again to all who participated!
Countries represented : Germany, France, USA, Cyprus, South Korea, Switzerland, Finland and Italy.

You can always send them in, and I can add them onto the blog post. ;) And don't worry, I can't really remember who all of you are, so I'm not going to be tracking anyone down. HA! Like I have time for that. I barely had time to do this blog post.
