the past few days

tuesday was april fool's day, and in france, it's known as le poisson d'avril (read more : lire+).

walking around town, i stumbled across this with a friend... 100-or-so helium balloon fish at the paillon water fountains - it was pretty incredible, and the next day they gave the fish to the children eagerly waiting =).

totally last minute - i got to go watch free jumping competitions in the middle of the Hippodrome race tracks with a friend and her daughter (OGC Nice represent).

our small group bible study prayer group - tonio couldn't make it, so we'll just say he's taking the picture ;).

a crazy tulip i found at the outdoor marketplace - called a "tulipe perroquet" (parrot tulip, sometimes know as "flaming parrots") - aren't they intriguing?  i'm in awe at the creativity and beauty of our Creator.

saying good-bye to mary today at the train station - enjoy the rest of your european travels !
