saturday stroll

my husband is one of the most creative people i know

some ideas can be processed for months

some are cleverly spontaneous

This particular saturday was the latter:

He asked me out on an Oreo cookie date ! =)

We walked to a local plaza and ate Oreos, the white chocolate-covered kind.

We read books while intermittently people and dog-watching.

...and to the left...

 Then we walked to Place Masséna to meet up with our friend Wil, a soccer buddy.

(Yes, that's giant, naked Apollos behind us.) 

 We watched the Champion's League Final together.

 Bayern Munich vs. Chelsea

(the guys were happy - Chelsea won; I was for Munich)

And we finished our day with another stroll through Place Masséna with Wil.

To see Tonio laughing, 

enjoying an Oreo, 

yelling at a tv screen with a friend,...

makes me so thankful to have such a wonderful, fun-loving husband.
