italia

a girls' day out

Sanremo, Italy
45 minutes from Nice

color !!!
{sidenote: to describe france & italy in colors,
france = black, grey, maybe brown, and an occasional red;
italy = every color you can imagine !}
seeing as color affects me tremendously, i try to make an effort EVERYday to wear a little, if not, a lot

taken for the sandoval family =)
a family who appreciates foo-da-fa-fa and MOOstaches

indoor market
drove by monaco on the way home

 perhaps you are thinking, just like I am,
what in the world, "Lindsey, you're living a dream life !"

How does one turn down a phone call like this?:
"Hey, Linz, would you want to come to italy on tuesday with us?" -Nancy

um... hmmm... no, i have too much laundry to do
or no, i just feel like having a day at home...

OF COURSE I WANT TO COME TO ITALY !!!
all this to say, i really want to praise God for these opportunities
i never want to take for granted where i live
yes, i have my hard days, just like you,
(and they seem to come often)
but,
"The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; Blessed be the name of the LORD."-Job 1:21
He has taken me away from my family, that i miss very much, my comforts, my "identity"
but,
He has given me so much in return:
an incredible husband who loves Jesus and me so much
a new life in France, the opportunity to travel, learn a language
and the opportunity to be stretched until all I have is my identity in Jesus Christ

and for this i rejoice
Blessed be the name of the LORD !

and had the idea to paint these cool stripes !!!

 getting closer - new carpet in the other room

pretty soon, children's ministry can meet back upstairs instead of the foyer of the church
please pray for this to be completed soon
tonio has been such a huge blessing in keeping the project moving forward

apocalypse 6

revelation 6

tonio est un prof super passionné - j'aime bien quand il enseigne
tonio is a really passionate teacher - i love when he teaches

je ne connais personne qui aime étudier plus que lui
i don't know anyone that likes to study more than him

on a pris une petite pause pour nos têtes
we took a little break for our brains

cette image représente les 4 premiers sceaux ouverts dans ce chapitre
this image represents the first 4 opened seals in this chapter

i'm enjoying this study tremendously,
not just because it's a little nuts studying the end of time
along with all the crazy happenings, but because through it,
God is showing me how much He really does love every person on this earth,
me included...
He doesn't want anyone to perish - not one.

mr. chambers - 6 march

"It takes Almighty grace to take the next step

when there is no vision

and no spectator --

the next step in devotion,

the next step in your study,

in your reading,

in you kitchen;

the next step in your duty,
when there is no vision from God,
no enthusiasm
and no spectator.

It takes far more of the grace of God,
far more conscious drawing upon God to take that step,

than it does to preach the Gospel."
--Oswald Chambers

Jesus, thank you that You never leave us nor forsake us.
Help me take the next step.

I hope this has encouraged you as it has me.
"These things I have spoken to you, that in Me [Jesus] you may have peace.
In the world you will have tribulation;
but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
--John 16:33
