Ireland Selfies
I'm back !
As I sift through all my pictures, I thought I'd give you some one-armed-bandit selfies to start.
Enjoy !
Joanna, Pastor Michael and me in Cork, Ireland.
River Lee in Cork.
Joanna, Emily, Pete, Caitie, Ausin and me eating Chinese in Cork.
Blarney Castle with Joanna !
Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.
Wicklow Mountains National Park.
Feeties.
Beth and me at the Upper Lake in Glendalough (pronounced GLEN-duh-lock).
{Interesting fact : I met Beth at the missions conference in Austria the same year I met Tonio in 2009... It's a small world.}
Anne Valley, Dunhill, Waterford
We had a really great trip.
Thankful for my time there,
and thankful to be home with my man.
More pictures to come !

Ireland bound
Hi to the 15-20 people who regularly read our blog... hehe.
This is Lindsey. I just wanted to let you know that there won't be much blog activity for the coming week or so. I will be in the country pictured below !
This is Lindsey. I just wanted to let you know that there won't be much blog activity for the coming week or so. I will be in the country pictured below !
I have a very cool opportunity to travel with Potter's Field Ministries as they visit 3 cities in the Republic of Ireland, Dublin, Waterford and Cork. I will be helping with music, so my guitar gets to travel too =). And one of my really good friends will be there too - JOANNA !!!
I will definitely miss my husband - I just love him. My best bud ! And no, I don't worry about him; I know he will hold down the fort with flying colors. He even cooks for himself... I'm a very blessed woman. You're the best mon chéri.
I look forward to all God has in store for the next 10 days, and I equally look forward to hugging Tonio upon my return to France.

ps - It takes about 2 1/2 hours to drive from Dublin to Cork. That should give you an idea of the country's size. Agoura Hills to San Diego ;)

the past few days
tuesday was april fool's day, and in france, it's known as le poisson d'avril (read more : lire+).
walking around town, i stumbled across this with a friend... 100-or-so helium balloon fish at the paillon water fountains - it was pretty incredible, and the next day they gave the fish to the children eagerly waiting =).
totally last minute - i got to go watch free jumping competitions in the middle of the Hippodrome race tracks with a friend and her daughter (OGC Nice represent).
our small group bible study prayer group - tonio couldn't make it, so we'll just say he's taking the picture ;).
a crazy tulip i found at the outdoor marketplace - called a "tulipe perroquet" (parrot tulip, sometimes know as "flaming parrots") - aren't they intriguing? i'm in awe at the creativity and beauty of our Creator.
saying good-bye to mary today at the train station - enjoy the rest of your european travels !

4 days of fun
Tanner (my brother, for those of you who are just tuning in) and Sarah (his beautiful wife) were here in Nice, France for 4 short but sweet days...
Day One : Click HERE to see more.
Day Two (below) :
It's not called the "blue coast" for no reason.
Our feet in the same country.
Visiting Antibes.
Exploring Old Antibes with Rob and Cricri.
Coffee break.
In the bus headed to the game.
Nice vs. Paris - full stadium !
The crew.
My sissy-in-law and brother.
Group shot. Nice lost 0-1, but it was a fun game.
Day Three :
Happy first anniversary to Tanner and Sarah (29th March) !
Opening a letter that my mom and dad sent them.
The lovely couple.
Day Four :
Gelato for the second time =).
Tanner braves the chilly waters.
Well done Tan !
Towel please !
Saying "au revoir." I cried after they left =(
Tanner and Sarah, we love you, and we hope this was only just an appetizer for your next visit... wink, wink...

Tanner and Sarah!
They're here !!!
let the fun begin.
before the shenanigans.
Sarah?
Tanner? I think Tonio has a question.
pillow fight seemed like an appropriate France welcome.
Nancy? Seb with the wind-up. And look closely at my "man" arm... haha ! Tanner is diving somewhere?
Ok, let's try this again...
Tonio?

Pierre wins the prize for remaining most "calm" throughout the sequence - oh those Klein-Hutchinson-Petrignani gatherings =) I must say that the one-year anniversary couple in the middle look quite cute and unharmed by the chaotic mishaps of the tangential photo session.
We've got a whole weekend of this - YAY !!!
