aujourd'hui (today)

in leu of pictures, i would like to share about our day

7 février, 2011
morning routine - shower, breakfast, bible
"To whom much is given, much is required..." -Matthew 25:29

tonio walked me to school - i'm so blessed by him
9-11:30 - french class, practiced imperfect mixed with passé composé
walked home while listening to a teaching of manny olivas - book of acts
my wonderful husband greeted me at home

i took a nap
(daily routine - french + exhaustion + french + tired = a crying lindsey)
needless to say, tonio and i have decided that
sleeping is of utmost importance for me
his comfort and support is a gift

woke up from nap - tonio worked on church accounts and emails

we took bus #7 and #3 to church -2 euros for both of us
inventoried milk and coffee for the coffee shop
walked up to pierre and nancy's house
(just a few minutes from the church, up a crazy, calf-burning hill)
went with nancy to carrefour (like a grocery store + target)

unloaded groceries
tonio and pierre moved a beautiful bureau to our house
will need to be assembled later

chicken, green beans, and lentils for dinner
while watching a couple episodes of the office

now, i just finished my french homework
tonio is fixing his bike
it's 10:06pm (1:06pm for all those in CA, WA...)

part of the daily light reading for the evening before we turn in:

"Thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious,
long suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth." -Psalm 86:15

Bonne nuit (Good night).
We love you all.

official paperwork

last week, we sent all our documents to the french embassy in los angles
we are "officially" married in california

next project...to be recognized as 'married' in france
(here is tonio closing the envelope just before sending it
from our local post office here in nice)

please pray our documents arrive at the embassy safely
and for a speedy processing
after this...visa application...and lots more
thankfully, God is in control
He has been so faithful with all the documents thus far
And I need to add that He is ALWAYS faithful, no matter what happens =)
