a new season

Perhaps you remember when our first Pépinière student arrived in August...

Or when Tonio was helping the 2 students with their paperwork in October...

Well, it is with heavy hearts that we have had to close La Pépinière program due to some unforeseen changes and the sudden departure of some of the leadership.

I'm comforted by this though:

"To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven..."

 "La Pépinière closes its doors!"

La Pépinière is "the [tree] nursery" in French,

so this verse sums it up quite perfectly.

We were hoping to plant, but for some reason, it's been uprooted.

Sure, we are bummed, but we are very thankful that God is our portion, our ever-present help in time of need.  And it has also been a blessing having my Dad here to encourage us during this difficult season.

We do look forward to what God has in store.

Paperwork / Pépinière

We all love paperwork !

Tonio aide les deux étudiants de La *Pépinière, Hayley et Andrew, 

avec leurs papiers pour un visa d'un ans pour rester en France.

with their one-year visa paperwork to stay in France.

*La Pépinière de Calvary Chapel Nice est une nouvelle "école biblique" 

avec le but d'implanter les églises en France.

*The Pépinière of Calvary Chapel Nice is a new "Bible school" 

with the goal of planting churches in France.

Totally new and unknown, so please pray for my wonderful husband, our 2 students, 

the church, the vision, and God's will in all of this.

We don't know what we're doing, but thankfully God does ! =)

The [R] and [Back] are in brackets because it's actually the first year of La Pépinière,

so NEXT YEAR we can say BACK to school or RE-entry, as the French say.
