Cousin Playdate

So, this is what I dreamed of when I was back in France thinking about coming to visit my family... play dates with the cousins, my mama and my sis!!!  So thankful!

This is the day after Thanksgiving, November 25, 2016.  Our guys all went fishing, while us girls had some fun!

3 generations playing together.

Miss Engineer studying the inner workings of this toy.

This place called The Play Destination is pretty great.

Now, this is my kind of toy.  Daphné loved it too.

She's driving!

Look out.

So many fun toys at this place.

Rowyn takes the fire truck for a spin.

Choo-Choo Train.

My sis and mama.

And Omi Monika came to visit.  This is my sister's mother-in-law.  All the girls together!

Walking Running home.

She's so big.

Daphné really enjoyed this toy.

And here's some fun Daphné and Rowyn shenanigans.

my baby dress

My mom sent me a box with a few odds and ends, valentine gifts, birthday gifts, etc... and in the box, was this gem.  A dress given to me when I was a baby that me and my sister both wore.  Now Daphné gets to wear it =).  She's so very cute and girly.

Thanks Mama!

A fun Wednesday

We got to have lunch with some good friends and their sweet, little newborn Hector, and we got a box from my mama, Daphné's Grandma!  Mail is always a fun thing.

Me, Daphné, Tonio, Edgar, Hector, Céline.  Important note : Edgar flew all the way to California for our wedding 5 years ago... with the quick engagement and not much time, he was the only French friend of Tonio's that made it.  We are thankful for his friendship, and now his sweet family.

Daphné helped me open the box.

I helped just a little with scissors.

Then, she attacked the inside!

She is very good at UNpacking things =).

Oooooo!  Clothes for me!

Hmmm... vanilla... for me?

Hello?

I have a feeling that this girl will one day enjoy the telephone by the way she talks up a storm with us.

Ballerina pose.

Cute PJs.

Need a few bibs?  YES!

A present =).

Oh là là, shiny shoes.

An adorable French girl outfit from my sister's mother-in-law, Monika.

Can't wait to put it on her.

All done.

Thanks so much mama for sending us some love in a box!
Daphné sends bisous to her Grandma (and Grandpa of course).
