Catch up

Every blog post is starting to begin in a similar fashion... so sorry I haven't posted, etc...  My priority is my husband and our daughter.  The computer gets neglected.  Believe me.  If you email me, please do not take it personally if I don't respond immediately.  And I'm not even always on my phone either.

I had a friend write a very encouraging and convicting quote the other day before she took a little break from some technology for a bit (she has 3 beautiful daughters).  "More time with the ones I hold in my arms.  Less time with the thing I hold in my hands."  [Thank you Anna for this amazing reminder!]

Let this not be an excuse for me to check out, of course.  I do believe in the beauty and importance of social media when not abused or put before our loved ones.  So, I leave you with these wonderful memories taken with "the thing I hold in my hands."  Enjoy photos of the precious "ones I hold in my arms."

So, I thank you for following our little family on this blog.  These are just little slices of Heaven.  Oh the joy to one day be there in the presence of my Papa, my King, my Savior, my Lord, my Everything!  This morning at church as we were singing, I kept thinking of the angels in Heaven singing with us, glorifying God, the Creator of this world, the Creator of my life, my heart, my soul... He is my hope.

a bit busy

Well, hello there...

As you all know, we have a little 2 year-old who is quite a busy little girl.  Therefore mama keeps busy.  Hence, the lack of blog posts.  Thanks for your patience my faithful blog readers (all 7 of you... ha!!!)

Here's a picture for you to enjoy.  We asked for people to pray for the means to get Pierre and Nancy new computers, and the money was donated in full!  God always provides in ways we never expect!  Thank you Jesus!  Here they are on their new machines.  Daphné thought it was pretty cool too.

Austria Pastors Conference

Tonio and Pierre attended the Pastors and Leaders Conference in Austria in January.  It was at the famous castle that will always be near and dear to mine and Tonio's hearts, since we met there in the summer of 2009!

I took this picture of the castle from a boat out on the lake in August 2009.

And here is the famous "we just met" picture.  I gave my camera to a gal that I was rooming with, and she pretended to just be getting pictures of everyone... I think her ultimate plan was to capture our initial flirtings.  HA!

Anyways, back to the conference...
January 23 - 27, 2017

Tonio took a few pictures on a walk he took one day.

I've only seen Austria in the summer.  The snow is equally as captivating!

The famous Millstätter See.

And here is Tonio meeting Pastor Chet Lowe, a man the Lord used in my life long ago in Montana 2005 at a little discipleship school called Potter's Field Ranch.  I love when my worlds meet up like this!

Here is a picture of me and Chet in Liberia West Africa in Decemeber 2005.

I'm thankful Tonio was able to go to this conference.  It seems like people working in churches are always going to retreats and conferences, but that's where the training and encouragement comes from to keep pressing on to "not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." Galatians 6:9

Tonio compared this conference to being with a band of brothers.  He was greatly encouraged, and for this, I'm so thankful.

I look forward to April when I get to go to Paris for a ladies retreat =).
